A special gaming glove has been unveiled at this year’s CES Technology Show, which can be used to track the recovery of stroke patients.

According to Techna’s technology news service, Palmplug has introduced a type of wearable glove equipped with sensors in each finger that can track users’ hand movements and provide visual cues through LED lights. As reported by The Verge, this glove works with various applications that can track the specific hand movements through a health technology game, assisting stroke patients in regaining their mobility. While the patient plays using the glove, the doctor can monitor the patient’s progress through various metrics.

The tracking of hand and finger movements is conducted with high precision using advanced motion capture technology. The feedback from these sensors will also be provided in real time and with high quality. Additionally, the haptic technology utilized in this glove can restore the sense of touch to the patients’ hands, offering digital interactions through real tactile feedback. The subtle vibrations created by this glove can provide an immersive experience in gaming, training, and other applications
